Eagles QB Sam Bradford has precautionary X-rays, but says he’s ‘fine’

The pope’s visit to the United States can’t come soon enough for Eagles fans. Sam Bradford’s knees need blessing, stat!
Or at least some unspecified part of Bradford’s body that required an X-ray after Monday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Bradford wouldn’t say which one, but the tests were done as a precautionary measure. And don’t freak out, Eagles fans.
“Don’t worry about it,” he said, per NFL.com. “I’m all good. They said everything is all good. I’m fine.”
Monday night’s game was Bradford’s first start in more than 700 days after ACL injuries derailed his last two seasons. He seemed to be a good fit for Chip Kelly’s offense, especially in the second half when Philadelphia really got going. For the game, Bradford completed 36 of 52 passes for 336 yards and a touchdown, with two interceptions.
“The second half was a blast,” Bradford said, via ESPN. “Once we got things rolling and we took the lead, I don’t know if I’ve been that excited in a long time. It’s good to get that feeling. Now maybe next week, we can start a little faster.”
